The purpose of Supersprogs is to improve the mental health of new mums through their challenging (though rewarding) breastfeeding journey, no matter how long or short that journey may be.

I'm a mum of identical twin boys and having had a tough start with them being born prematurely, I set out to make life for other mums (premature, multiple, or otherwise) that bit easier and more enjoyable. My starting point is launching a range of organic, ethnically produced hoodies that are fun, practical, and extremely soft and comfortable against yours and your babies' skin.

I've also created a range of matching organic hoodies designed to help older siblings feel included when you start breastfeeding their younger sibling.

Ethics and Sustainability

 

 

Here at Supersprogs we care a lot about the planet and sustainability.   We ensure all of our hoodies are posted plastic-free and they are made with 100% Organic cotton (which is lovely and soft!).  I even walk to the post-office to post them to keep that carbon footprint low!

 

We manufacture in Portugal at a SMETA audited factory currently to ensure the sustainable sourcing of materials, ethical treatment of workers and avoidance of child labour, as well as reducing the carbon footprint of importing from further afield.

 

We want as many people to be able to afford our hoodies as possible. That's why we'll also be selling second-hand hoodies here in our shop as soon as our early customers are able to part with their purchases.   

 

We ask all of our customers to re-gift, re-sell (even though that doesn't make us any money - saving the planet is more important!) or return their hoodies that are in a good condition to us so that we can re-stock them here.

If you wish to send your hoodie back to us so that we can find a new home for it, just email resale@supersprogs.com with your name and address and we'll send you some pre-paid packaging to send it back for no charge*. 

 

*Unfortunately we cannot pass on any payments we receive for returned hoodies that we resell (sometimes they won't sell at all and we need to cover the costs of postage and packaging and our time).

 

Giving to Charity

We will donate 5% of net profits from all sales of our hoodies each year to Breastfeeding Twins and Triplets UK (charity number 1187134). Whilst I am yet to make a profit in my first year I continue to donate to support the valuable work that they do.
